1) Study Online – Flexible Learning – $625.00 (GST Exempt)

The study guide enables learners to navigate through the course content with workbook activities to reinforce learning and preparation for the final assessment. The assessment includes question and answer, workplace scenarios and completion of documentation. REINSW estimates completion of these assessment requirements may take an individual up to 20 hours to complete.

Learners are required to complete a skills assessment which is completed via a phone assessment.

REINSW estimates the phone assessment taking approximately 30 minutes.

These times are provided as an indication only and will vary from learner to learner depending on skills and knowledge.

Learners have 3 months from enrolment to complete the course.

2) Study in Our Sydney CBD Classroom – $799.00 (GST Exempt)

5 day course. 4 days in class, with a trainer, where learners complete in class group learning workbook activities to reinforce learning. Day 5 requires learners to complete a 1 hour group-based skills assessment.

The final assessment for this course is completed post class.

The Getting Started Essentials - Certificate of Registration Course takes approximately 60 hours to complete. If you have prior experience or have undertaken related training, you may be able to complete the course in a shorter period of time.

Once you have successfully completed the Certificate of Registration Course, including all assessment components, you will receive a Statement of Attainment from REINSW. When you receive the Statement of Attainment, you can then apply to NSW Fair Trading for a Certificate of Registration.

*Please note that the Certificate of Registration Course is a short-course and the title of this course should not be confused with a certificate qualification under the Australian Qualification Framework.

REINSW is pleased to offer in-house training 7 days per week between 07:00AM and 09:00PM for small and large groups.

REINSW trainers will visit your office, or a location of your choice, and deliver a training program specifically tailored to meet the needs of your team and your agency. In-house training is an ideal solution that delivers maximum results, with minimum disruption to your business.

  • Multiple choice questions online
  • Short and extended answer questions
  • Workplace situation activities

We encourage you to complete and submit your assessments within two weeks of completing the Getting Started Essentials - Certificate of Registration Course, while the information is still fresh in your mind. Learners are required to submit all assessments via the online portal. REINSW recognises the needs of learners and has strategies in place to assist learners who may have difficulties with assessment tasks.

In order to complete assessments, you must have access to: a computer, Microsoft Word (or similar), an email address, the internet and a printer.

Throughout the duration of the Getting Started Essentials - Certificate of Registration Course, and after completion of the course, REINSW expert trainers and assessors are available to provide support to students should they require assistance with any part of their learning.

The assessment marking process takes four weeks from the date an assessment is received by REINSW. In most instances, results are available inside of this time frame. Learners are welcome to contact REINSW Training after three weeks to enquire about their assessment progress.

REINSW offers Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL). RPL is a rigorous assessment method that assesses previous learning and experience against the requirements of the units of competency. REINSW recommends this assessment method be investigated as an option for individuals who are currently working in the real estate industry or hold current qualifications or units of competency relating to the real estate industry. REINSW requires individuals who are producing evidence for this assessment method to provide current evidence. Under REINSW's RPL policy, all current (within the last 18 months) evidence supplied must meet current industry standards.
